The show always go on come rain or shine but in this case it was come rain or high heat! The official temperature July 29th was 104°! At the last minute the concert was relocated to the Washington Center for the Performing Arts air conditioned building. Tom Iovanne, Executive Director of the Washington Center graciously offered his venue so people could comfortably watch the Everyday Jones performance.
The crowd was much smaller than previous concerts due to people not wanting to brave the 104° heat and/or not hearing that the concert was relocated to the Washington Center. But the 530 people who did attend cheered loudly for Everyday Jones’ wonderful performance. The musical duo received a standing ovation at the end of their concert!
